Find out what to expect from UniSA’s Open Days this year.

  • When and where do I need to be? minus-thick plus-thick

    This year, UniSA Open Days are both online and on campus. You can jump online for our Virtual Open Day event and get all the study and career information you need in the one place. Then, you can get to know us more by coming on campus to meet your future teachers and to explore our unique spaces and facilities.

    Here’s what’s happening throughout August:

    ONLINE

    Access all of your study and career information in one place. You can download resources, watch a degree presentation and join a live Q&A. You can also explore our student life and support services, or take a virtual tour around our campuses.

    • Virtual Open Day, Tuesday 9 August, 4:00pm – 8:00pm

    ON CAMPUS

    Get to know us more by meeting your teachers and exploring your future campus. Learn about your degree and career options by attending a panel presentation, tour our unique learning spaces and facilities, visit an information booth to connect with staff and students, talk to our career advisers, or go through the uni application process and alternative entry pathways (including UniSA College) with our friendly team.

    • Mount Gambier Campus Open Day, Sunday 7 August, 11:00am – 4:00pm
    • City West + City East Campus Open Day, Sunday 14 August, 10:00am – 3:00pm
    • Mawson Lakes Campus Open Day, Sunday 21 August, 11:00am – 3:00pm
    • Magill Campus Open Day, Wednesday 24 August, 4:00pm – 7:30pm
    • Whyalla Campus Open Day, Sunday 28 August, 11:00am – 3:00pm

    Everyone is welcome to get involved. If you’re interested in studying at university, or you’re a parent, friend, career adviser or teacher, there’s information for everyone.

  • Does it cost anything? minus-thick plus-thick

    Everything is free – that includes access to the online platform and all its features, along with all of the on-campus tours and experiences.

  • Will the events be COVID safe? minus-thick plus-thick

    Yes – we absolutely take community safety very seriously and will be implementing COVID safe guidelines and practices for everyone attending.

    You’ll get email reminders in the lead up to the events, but here’s some important things to remember:

    • If you’re feeling unwell or presenting with COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home.
    • Check-in at the registration desk upon arrival – this lets us know you’re here.
    • Wearing a face mask is strongly recommended in all shared indoor spaces across our campuses.

    We also ask you to maintain 1.5m social distancing whenever possible. Attendees are made aware of these when agreeing to our  Terms and Conditions  for our on campus events.

  • How can I stay informed about the latest updates? minus-thick plus-thick

    It’s important to register for UniSA Open Days through our website. That way you’ll stay up to date with the latest information and updates. 

  • Do I need to register for the on-campus events? minus-thick plus-thick

    Yes, you’ll need to pre-register to attend our on-campus events. Registering will provide you with a ticket, which is required to be presented at the gates prior to entry. This allows us to manage capacities and ensure everyone can explore in a safe environment.

  • Are there Information booths available? minus-thick plus-thick

    Yes, each event on campus also has information booths for you to speak to staff.

    We have also curated study information related to your areas of interest within our Open Days platform, where you can find exclusive information about our degrees from our leading academics, download a digital brochure, and join live webinars.
